Apple Admits iOS 9 Has Third Problem

Apple unveils iPad Pro, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, AppleWatch update.

The new Siri in iOS 9 isn’t just a question-and-answer machine — she can predict what you want to do or who you want to talk to before you even ask. With Apple having just released its first software update for its new operating platform, iOS 9.0.1, hackers have again come up with a way to work around things and sneak past your lock screen.Among the changes are the ability to shoot video in 4K – roughly four times the resolution of high definition – a 12 megapixel rear facing camera and a 5 megapixel front facing camera.

A video from YouTuber videosdebarraquito illustrates how the exploit works, and by the looks of things, it isn’t all too easy to pull off, but nonetheless possible. Apple said there are now 10,000 apps designed for the watch, including ones from Facebook and GoPro – the later using the watch’s screen as a viewfinder for the video camera.

But it is possible to get into an iPhone this way; once you’ve launched Siri, the next step is to launch the clock app from the virtual assistant, which should allow you to access Messages, Photos, and Contacts. All in all, this poses a clear threat to iPhone users currently on iOS 9.0.1,but reports claim that it isn’t a 100 percent accurate means to hack into one’s phone. A Smart keyboard will also be sold at $169 as an accessory, which can be connected magnetically to the tablet through a smart connector port, placed on the sides of the device.

While the iPhone 6s Plus’ true battery capacity is now unconfirmed, confirmation of a lower capacity will likely come in the next few weeks as the device is subject to teardowns and technical breakdowns. From there, pricing for the handset jumps significantly with the next storage tier: the 64GB device costs £619, while the 128GB model will cost £699.
