Apple Watch coming to India on November 6.

New Delhi: The highly-anticipated smartwatch by Apple is all set to make its debut in India in the festive season, the company has confirmed on its site. For most consumers the cheaper stainless steel version will be the one they will go for, while the well-heeled might opt for the significantly pricier gold version of the watch. If you still have some cash left over after buying an iPhone 6S, you might want to spend it on the Apple Watch, which is finally coming to India on November 6, according to Apple’s India website. The Watch is Apple’s first wearable device that not only tracks your fitness (in addition to reminding you to stand up every hour), but also gives you email, text messages, notifications and apps right on your wrist.

It is available in two sizes — 38 mm and 42 mm — and depending on which model you buy, prices in the United States range from $349 (roughly Rs 23,000) to $17,000 (roughly Rs 11 lakh) before taxes. Apple hasn’t announced how much the Watch will cost in India yet, but given how overpriced its latest phone in India is, we’re guessing it will be north of Rs 30,000.
