ASUS GX700 gaming laptop rocks liquid cooling and mystery GPU.

The GTX 980 Ti has received the Matrix treatment from ASUS, and the ROG GTX 980Ti Platinum graphics card features a DirectCU II cooler with the new plasma copper color scheme.

Every year, most of the companies and manufacturers usually schedule their events and release new products a day or two before the event officially kicks off in Berlin, Germany. Details on the GX700 are very sparse but what we do know is it’ll features a 17-inch 4K display, an overclocked quad-core Skylake mobile “K-series” chip, and yes, water-cooling. Yes, yes, I’m sure you’re wondering on what planet this qualifies as a “laptop” but I’m going to imagine that Asus has rigged some clever way for it to dock and undock. When on the road, you run at normal speeds, but once home, you dock your GX700, the flood gates open and you kick the GPU and CPU into overclocked heaven.

Pushing down on the latch slightly firmly the laptop in and connects the conduits, expanding the cooling loop to the large radiator and fans in the rear dock. Asus also tossed out another gaming rig (the one in silver color) called the ROG G753 with a 17-inch screen, Intel Skylake processors, and various graphics options. The graphics are handled by the powerful NVIDIA GTX 980M GPU, offering sharp 17.3-inch display with resolution of 1,920 by 1080 pixels. The top tier model offer users with an even better resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels, but you will have to shell out extra bucks in order to get your hands on it.
