Bandai Namco Bringing Berseria, Gundam and JoJo’s to US.

Tales of Berseria, the 16th main entry in the popular franchise, is officially coming to PlayStation 4 and PC in Europe, the Middle-East, Africa and Australasia. At the Jump Festa conference in Tokyo this week, Bandai Namco announced that several of their previously Japan-only titles would be getting Western releases. As reported earlier this year, Bandai Namco’s Tales of Symphonia will be getting an official PC release next year, however up until now we have not had a specific release date. Although a release date hasn’t been revealed, the first game in the series to feature a woman as its singular main character will be playable with English, French, Italian, German, Spanish or Russian subtitles.

Velvet will visit a wide range of breathtaking environments as she travels the world in an all-new adventure developed by the celebrated team behind the Tales of series. Technically, Berseria is coming to ‘Americas’, but Steam is mentioned specifically and its predecessor Tales of Zestiria is available in Europe, so I’m inclined to believe Berseria will follow suit. Both God Eater: Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst will see a Western release, and One Piece: Burning Blood adds PC to its launch platform list, having already been confirmed for localized releases on the PS4 and Xbox One in 2016. They also said that they’ve recruited several Tales veterans (Mutsumi Inomata, Kosuke Fujishima, Minoru Iwamoto, and Daigo Okumura) to create the characters and creatures for the game. Based on the series’ Linear Motion Battle System, the default control is free run, you can rotate the camera freely, and multiple artes can be assigned to any of the four face buttons, allowing you to link them together in attack combinations.
