LG Is Developing Its Own Mobile Payment Service. Following the lead of Apple, Android and Samsung, LG announced it is developing a mobile payments platform, in a post on its Facebook page Thursday. The company partnered with two Korean banks with the aim to launch the service, called LG Pay, in South Korea, with no current plans to bring the service elsewhere, reports TechCrunch. We have partnered with Shinhan Card and KB Kookmin Card to prepare for the launch of LG Pay,” the firm said, adding that the service will be made available first in its South Korean homeland.
