ITC judge rules Samsung, Qualcomm didn’t infringe Nvidia’s GPU patents (updated). A US International Trade Commission judge said in a preliminary ruling on Friday that Qualcomm and Samsung did not infringe on two Nvidia patents, according to a report at Reuters. ITC judge rules Samsung, Qualcomm didn’t infringe Nvidia’s GPU patents (updated). Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has been cleared on its use of graphics chip technology owned by Nvidia Corp without permission, in a US International Trade Commission ruling. ITC administrative law judge Thomas Pender has ruled Samsung (OTC:SSNLF) and Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) didn’t infringe two Nvidia (NVDA -0.4%) GPU patents asserted by the latter.
