Now play more games with the PlayStation Vita TV hack.

During the developer session at EGX 2015, the president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, implied that there wouldn’t be a successor to the PlayStation Vita anytime soon.As if September didn’t have enough games to take all your money, here’s a taste of the October releases on PlayStation: Disgaea 5, Rock Band 4, Guitar Hero Live, WWE 2K16, Transformers: Devastation, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Dragon Quest Heroes, Minecraft: Story Mode, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, The Talos Principle, Wasteland 2, Tales of Zestiria, and Life is Strange Episode 5.

Gas” from the Hackinformer forum has released a method showing how you can tweak the PlayStation TV’s software compatibility with a simple hack and play games that it’s currently not compatible with. Players can unlock the ability by using this method and a specially built “whitelist” file, to play many (but not all) previously incompatible Vita games and apps on their PlayStation TV, including Netflix.
