Lenovo ThinkPad P40 Yoga – Best Hybrid PC On The Market.

The Lenovo ThinkPad P40 Yoga is claimed to offer a “first-class digital sketching experience” with high mobile workstation performance and reliability.

Lenovo announced more additions to its ThinkPad P series on Tuesday, including a convertible Yoga-style ThinkPad geared for folks who need to do a lot of digital sketching. Alongside that there’s also the ThinkPad P50s, which Lenovo says is a “more affordable” workstation that still packs premium functionality in a sleek package. Unfortunately, among those interested in such flexibility were not video content creators because of restrictions imposed by the integrated Intel graphics card. To deliver unparalleled sketching precision for professionals, it offers a highly responsive pen and a touchscreen that is powered by Wacom Active ES technology with full 2,048 pressure levels on the 2560 x 1440 QHD IPS display.

To keep all the benefits of the hybrid Yoga family and introduce hardware specifications that will please the most demanding users, Lenovo announced the new ThinkPad Yoga P40. A rechargeable ThinkPad Pen Pro is included for a comfortable and realistic sketching experience, according to Lenovo, along with additional pen tips providing varied levels of tactile feedback.

All three new devices are scheduled to roll out before the end of March 2016 and come with Windows 10 (though some models also offer Windows 7 and 8 options). It reminds us of the classic Thinkpad computers, but takes the concept to a whole new level, through the possibility of using it as a tablet or as a laptop. Powering the P40 is an unnamed Intel “Skylake” Core i7 processor, Nvidia Quadro M500M discrete graphics, up to 16GB of RAM, 512GB SSD, three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 1.4, Mini DisplayPort 1.2, an Ethernet port, a micro SIM slot, and 4-in-1 SD card reader.

The ThinkStation P310 builds on the success of the Lenovo ThinkStation P300, offering an entry-level machine with the technology of a high-end workstation. Inside, the P310 features an Intel Core processor or the Xeon E3-1200 v5, up to 64GB of RAM, and numerous storage options, including two 3.5-inch SATA slots, a 2.5-inch SATA slot for a SSD, and an M.2 SSD.
