Apple Watch Edition buyers to get first-class treatment.

Those interested in buying a gold, $10,000-plus Apple Watch Edition won’t have to wait in line or get elbowed and pushed while they try out the wares in an Apple Store. If you’re planning to buy one of Apple’s more expensive iterations of the Apple Watch—specifically, its $10,000 Watch Edition version of the device, which comes with an 18-karat gold case, a sapphire crystal display, and a variety of different watch buckles to choose from—you might want to wait a moment and make sure you understand all the potential perks that come along with the device.Canada’s direct bank Tangerine has announced the availability of its new mobile banking app on Apple Watch, claiming to be one of the first such apps.Apple’s retail stores will create ‘customer journeys’ that include a ‘magical display table’ in an attempt to convince potential Apple Watch buyers to invest in the hardware.

Buyers of the most expensive Apple Watch – the “Edition”, which starts at £8000 will get to skip the queues outside Apple Stores on April 24th, according to reports. 9to5Mac reports on preparations for the rich to get their Apple watches – without having to mix with the sort of subhuman scum who only have £400 to spend an an unnecessary accessory. Offering personal as well as convenient banking experience to users, the new Tangerine Mobile Banking Apple Watch app will facilitate access to personal banking information including account balances, recent transactions and transaction details. That’s according to 9to5Mac sources who have revealed customers will be able to book try-on appointments at Apple Stores, where sales staff will assist a test run of the product. You can do so starting on the 10th of April but here’s the kicker, according to a report apparently pre-ordering the Apple Watch will have some limitations, such as users being unable to choose the band/case combination of their Apple Watch.

After being paired with an employee. the would-be buyer will be taken to a display table of Apple Watches that run demo loops to showcase their main features. “Making it a magical display,” according to an Apple source. Basically what this means is that Apple will have cases/band combinations available on their website, but if for some reason you want to choose your own case and band combination, that will not be possible during the pre-order phase. It is expected that perhaps later on more customizability will be unlocked, but there is a good chance that the rumors about supply constraints might have to do with Apple trying to keep the combinations to a minimum at the start. So if you wanted a case/band combination that isn’t listed on Apple’s website, you’d have to buy the watch and buy the band separately which will cost you extra. Otherwise, they can make use of a new Virtual Personal Setup program, which will basically just be a videoconference between that person and an Apple specialist.
