Microsoft brings 16 more Xbox 360 games to Xbox One, including Deus Ex and Halo: Reach.

Just as the promised earlier, Microsoft is now adding even more games to the list of titles that are already available to play through the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. While many welcomed the news, the initial selection of games was pretty small, with just 100 titles and only a handful of blockbuster games from the last generation.

And the most popular games fans from around the world have been spending those hours playing are Fallout 3, Gears of War 3, Just Cause 2, Assassin’s Creed II and DiRT 3. Xbox One owners who bought any of the titles digitally should be able to redownload them today, while owners of physical disc copies can just pop them into their machine to start playing. Those really excited about the program are hoping to see bigger titles from some of the world’s most popular publishers, not just Xbox Live Arcade titles.

Many worry that publishers will attempt to undercut the program, preferring to remaster their old games and sell them instead of providing them for free to gamers that have already paid for them once.
