Moto G 2015: latest leak details packaging and specs.

New Delhi: There’s little surprise left when Motorola launches its new products tomorrow, as details about its purported devices are already leaked on the web.In addition to the slew of rumors and leaks surrounding the third-generation Motorola Moto G 2015, a new listing sheds light on the pricing and configuration details.

The company was one of the earliest names to come out with breakthroughs in the mobile phone technology and had been a leader in the markets in the early days.It is anticipated Motorola will be officially introducing the third-generation model of its Moto G smartphone tomorrow, but the odds are high we won’t be surprised by what we hear. The Symbian wave lasted for nearly a decade when they were overthrown by the Android revolution, clinging by which, Motorola made its way back into the markets and gained back the goodwill that it had lost in the earlier days.

The handset has been the source of numerous leaks, the rate of which we’ve seen increase rapidly over the past couple weeks (and it’s not the only Motorola product to surface early). Last year the company upgraded the Moto series of phones to second generation phones which saw several improvements come their way, and this year the plan is to take them to the third generation! The device apparently will feature a pocket-friendly 5.0-inch display, packed with 720 x 1,280-pixel screen resolution, protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. The packaging reveals some of what we’ve already heard in past leaks: 4G connectivity, a 5-megapixel front camera and 13 megapixel rear camera, and 16GB of storage, to start with. The Moto X is customizable and users can choose the colour of the phone’s shell and buttons, add a signature, select its memory capacity, and choose a screen background or welcome message via the Moto Maker online tool.

Following are some of the anticipated details for the Moto G and Moto X of the third generation: Moto G (3rd Gen): The Moto G of the third generation is expected to be a bigger and better phone than the 2nd generation phone, the buttons are heard to be on the screen itself this time, and it is expected that the phone will come with a dual LED flash and a metallic strip. The image above shows two back pieces for the phone, and though we don’t see the rear of the handset, the back pieces show an oblong slot that indicates the new design is real.

Images leaked earlier hinted at hint at the 3rd gen Moto G taking on some elements of its predecessor along with some improvements in the camera, processor, and battery. Earlier speculations have hinted at two variants of Moto G; one model with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, and the other with 2GB RAM and twice the internal storage.

Images of the Moto 360 2 popped up on Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, in April and showed the successor of the Moto 360- having a round design with thin bezels. There is also a likelihood that Motorola would use a metal design instead of plastic for the next Moto 360 2.The second-gen Motorola smarwatch would run Android Wear OS and have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
