Nintendo Announces Discontinuation of Nintendo TVii.

It’s with a heavy heart that I must tell you that the Wii U’s strange television guide Nintendo TVii is shutting down on August 11, an announcement that is sure to sadden dozens around the globe.Nintendo TVii service was a bit limited in its rollout as it was released for the United States, Canada and Japan users only and was never released for European users. The remote control functionality linked to the user’s cable provider and the television on the GamePad will also not be affected, and a system update will merely take away the Nintendo TVii icon on the Home Screen and the Wii U Menu.

In an announcement at both TVii’s official support site and its Miiverse page, Nintendo confirmed that TVii, a TV Guide-style interface meant to help users sort through live and streaming video listings, would no longer function after August 11. That button will continue to work after TVii is removed via a console update, Nintendo said, but it will only function as a basic IR blaster for TVs’ volume and channel controls.

In particular, TVii received a considerable, stealth downgrade in 2014 that removed its most interesting feature: the ability to search for a TV show across a number of sources, from a cable box to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. The announcement follows another Nintendo UK made earlier this year, noting Nintendo TVii would not be coming to Europe as originally planned, citing “the extremely complex nature of localising multiple television services across a diverse range of countries with varied licensing systems”.

Nintendo TVii also incorporated social media functionality, allowing users to share their thoughts over Twitter, Facebook, and Miiverse; and a doodle mode for drawing over the on-screen action. However, ever since June 2014 we have been noticing that Nintendo was losing interest in it because that was the last time they updated Nintendo TVii. However, the service never really took off, mainly due to the fact that there wasn’t a real DVR functionality, and thanks to complex TV rights and platforms, it was hard to get a lot of channels on board. The GamePad would then receive information on the program the user is watching, such as reviews, screenshots, and real-time stats and info during sporting events. We look forward to your contributions within our many other Miiverse communities.” It is likely that many fans didn’t even utilize the service which could be a reason why Nintendo is deciding to dedicate resources elsewhere.

So if you did enjoy using the service, you’ve got yourself pretty much until the 11th of August to keep enjoying it, after which it will just become a memory for you. Proponents say a larger health insurer could persuade hospitals, physician groups and pharmaceutical companies to offer lower prices based on the high membership numbers, and that those savings could be passed down to policyholders.

Apparent worries about regulatory scrutiny have also hit Humana shares, which closed at US$181.76 on Friday, well below the value of Aetna’s cash-and-stock offer of US$230 per share when it was announced on July 3. Our responsibility as a health benefits company is evolving, and we recognize the need to help health care consumers decide how to choose a plan and utilize health care-not just pay for it. This acquisition will further our mission to follow through on this important responsibility and deliver the highest quality and most efficient access to care available to members. “The Aetna-Humana deal left Cigna with many fewer dance partners, because both of those companies were potential merger candidates for Cigna”, Gupte said. The effects on the health insurance industry are only part of the law’s impact, as it brought on waves of deals between drug companies, medical device makers and prescription benefit managers as they reacted to new pressures to keep their costs down. This news comes hot on the heels of a $37 billion deal between Aetna and Humana. “To give commercial health insurers virtually unlimited power to exert control over an issue as significant and sensitive to patient health care is bad for patients and not good or the nation’s health care system”, he said.

The mergers will also remove competitors from the exchanges where people can buy insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act in several states, the WSJ reports. For example, Cigna is a big player in the dental, life, disability and expatriate health insurance markets while Anthem is known for its strength in the Medicaid and small and medium-size employer market.

But before you decide to add to the list of suspected names for this new update, you may want to hold off until Android releases an official statement. Furthermore, the renowned leaker reported that the upcoming Huawei Nexus will include a built-in fingerprint scanner too, which comes as no surprise given that this specification is one of the big features of Google’s forthcoming Android M OS.

This feature increases the battery life of the device, because when left unattended for a specified period of time, the mode is automatically enciente Doze, a way by which the processes are minimized and battery life in standby doubles. It is important to note that Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) seems to be making changes for the replacement of Nexus 6 – The old Google division, Motorola Mobility, produced The Nexus 6. The two well preserved parchments were closely written in elegant scripts have been radiocarbon-dated to between AD568 and AD645, tested at Oxford at an accuracy rate of 95.4%. David Thomas professor of Christianity and Islam at the University of Birmingham told the BBC that the author may have known the prophet: “The person who actually wrote it could well have known the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)”. The university’s director of special collections, Susan Worrall, said researchers had not expected “in our wildest dreams” that the documents would be so old.

The pages of the Muslim holy text are said to have been kept in the university’s Mingana Collection of Middle Eastern manuscripts and remained unrecognised in the university library for nearly a century. The university says that the Quran fragments will be on display at the Barber Institute in Birmingham in October, with the chairman of the Birmingham Central Mosque expecting it to attract people from all over Britain. The local Muslim community has already expressed its delight at the discovery in their city, where they claim that Birmingham now has a “treasure that is second to none”. The researchers hailed the discovery as being of particular significance to Birmingham because the city is culturally diverse with a large Muslim population. Register political columnist Kathie Obradovich was informed Friday that she had been denied a credential to the event, a “family picnic” featuring Trump that will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the George Daily Community Auditorium in Oskaloosa.

Donald Trump will not allow reporters from the Des Moines Register into a campaign event on Saturday after complaning about being criticized by the newspaper’s editorial board. The real-estate mogul and Republican 2016 candidate was unhappy with an editorial published by the newspaper that called on Trump to pull out of the race.

Nash urged the Trump campaign to “revisit its decision instead of making punitive decisions because we wrote something critical of him”. “So much so, in fact, that they threaten to derail not just his campaign, but the manner in which we choose our nominees for president”. Trump wasn’t done bashing the Register on Saturday morning, taunting the “ultra liberal” paper for “begging” his campaign for the credentials.

Press TV has conducted an interview with Mark Glenn, an author and journalist in Idaho, about US Secretary of State John Kerry’s vigorous defense of the successful conclusion of Iran’s nuclear talks with six world powers. Half a world away, by coincidence or not, Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said the agreement appears to have the provisions needed to curtail Iran’s ability to obtain a nuclear weapon. “If Iran violates the commitments once we suspended the sanctions, we will be able to promptly snap back both U.S. and UN sanctions“, Lew told the committee. “We hope that Iran will make use of the deal’s fruits to re-build their country and to improve their people’s quality of living, not to use it to conduct more subversion in the region”. Even so, no matter the objections and Republicans leveled many in a hearing that stretched until midafternoon Kerry, Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz and Treasury Secretary Jack Lew were ready with responses.

Congress, which received details of the deal over the weekend, has 60 days, which started Monday, to consider whether it wants to pass a resolution of disapproval before the Obama administration can waive the congressionally mandated sanctions. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., released a list of 21 reasons to oppose the deal, including: “The murderous Syrian President Bashar al-Assad called this deal a “great victory” and congratulated Iran on their achievement”.

Many analysts see the chance of the Iranian leadership eventually rejecting the accord as small, since Tehran needs the lifting of sanctions to help its isolated economy. “That we are only now discovering that parts of this unsafe agreement are being kept secret begs the question of what other elements may also be secret and entirely free from public scrutiny”, Senator Tom Cotton, a Republican from Arkansas said in a statement. Making it evident that there will be no resignations, the meeting discussed how to counter the opposition attack in Parliament during the session beginning on Tuesday and harmonising of the response of the government and the party on these issues, sources said. Both the leaders are being targeted by the Opposition but the BJP is firmly backing the two Chief Ministers and has planned a strong counter offensive against the Congress, which is leading the onslaught. Party leader in the Rajya Sabha, Sanjay Raut, expressed happiness over Modi’s decision, saying it would help the alliance chalk out a collective strategy to ward off the Opposition challenge. External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, finance minister Arun Jaitley and information and technology minister Ravi Shankar Prasad were among those who met Shah.

On one hand, they’re looking for resignation of our leaders on the idea of Lalit Modi’s feedback, however has no reply to his costs towards Priyanka Gandhi, her husband Robert Vadra and an alleged deal Sonia Gandhi’s sister.
