‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3′ Limited PS4 Bundle Includes 1TB Hard Disk Drive, NUK3TOWN Bonus.

It’s quite the comprehensive timeline, kicking off with the birth of characters such as Victor Reznov and Nikita Dragovich and taking in crucial operations, historic events, and critical events from the series’ history along the way. With less than two months to go before Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 releases, fans of Activision’s and Treyarch’s forthcoming installment in the shooter series are surely ready to jump into the fray of the game’s futuristic combat.

Whether it’s the FPS’s award-winning multiplayer component, its solo-campaign’s intricate dystopian narratives, or its fast-paced zombies mode, long-time fans and newcomers alike should be pleased with the results. It’s a rather gaudy orange/black/grey affair with an accompanying controller that is similarly bedecked, but some people like that sort of thing so it likely won’t be much of a turnoff. But it’s certainly a more time efficient way to catch up than playing through Black Ops 1 and 2 again, and it’s more engaging than reading a Wikipedia summary. That Share button is going to get a workout, too – our 3.00 system software update for PS4 adds the ability to share short video clips directly to Twitter natively, making it much easier to share your multiplayer feats with the world.

Other than the 1TB hard disk drive which will give the game plenty of room for DLC, it will also include the standard game and a bonus — NUK3TOWN multiplayer map, the famous map in the history of “Black Ops” re-imagined for a new gen play. After years of catering to Microsoft fans with first dibs on bonus content, a few months ago, Activision announced a partnership with Sony to deliver exclusive DLC to PlayStations before any other platforms. This particular bundle has quite a story, too, as it represents the end of the love affair between Call of Duty and Microsoft, and signifies a new, PlayStation-first era for the franchise. Not only did the deal offer up entry to Black Ops 3‘s beta to PlayStation users first, but it also went so far as to influence eSports matches to use PS4s for prospective tournaments centered around the game.

The three emblems in front represent each game mode — the campaign represented by SOG Skull, the multiplayer denoted by the Winslow Accord and the Zombies signified by “the mark,” GameSpot learned. Might be worth considering if you’re intent on this year’s CoD, which is set to launch on November 6 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Plus, if fans buy the bundle, they’ll get a DualShock 4 controller washed in gray and orange with a Roman numeral “III” logo painted on the right grip.

Perhaps the most appealing aspect of the bundle is its inclusion of the most popular multiplayer level in the franchise’s history with the Nuketown map, which is now going by the rather contrived name “Nuk3town”. Not to mention, 1 TB of memory with the addition of a game, as well as a limited edition theme is a better than the Xbox One Elite console, which is $50 more expensive, and lacks a playable title. Many have pointed out that the PlayStation Network’s server issues could be a problem as the PSN quite often goes down for either maintenance or due to unexpected outages, leading some players to launch a full campaign to get Sony to fix it. Previously, Capcom moved the Capcom Pro Tour to PS4 for all of its Western events and last October, Sony also unveiled the PlayStation Official League, an eSports league for PS4.
