Even if the price is low, the games which are offered are still a bit too old in order to successfully attract more consumers to join in on the service.(Mirror Daily, United States) – For a limited time only, the PlayStation Now subscription drops down to $100 which means a solisd 55% off the normal price.

There’s reason to be merry for gamers before the festive season arrives, as Playstation is cinched to be loaded with Warner Bros games with its newest offer.Over the weekend Sony has announced that it is now offering a 12 month subscription to its PlayStation Now service for just $99.99 offering savings of more than 55 percent off the regular monthly subscription price. The online game streaming service Playstation Now 12-month subscription is priced at $100, but users are still questioning the usefulness of it, even at this price range. PlayStation Now is a cloud gaming service created by Sony that allows users to pay for access to a selection of original PlayStation 3 titles on either a per-game basis or via a subscription.

If you always felt that its asking price was a little too dear, you might be pleased to learn that Sony has recently announced during its PlayStation Experience 2015 that they will be offering a 12-month PS Now subscription for $99.99. The idea of a cloud streaming service has already been implemented on the PC market in the past through the OnLive subscription, but, unfortunately, it has failed.

If you happen to be a member already and this offer might annoys you, but you can opt for the new one-year alternative and extend your present subscription or pick a three-month offer. Sony explains more about the new offer and new games : For less than $9 per month, you can now get access to hundreds of PS3 games, with new games added every month. Gamers who are interested will be able to subscribe to PS Now starting 8th of December and opt to pay $99.99 for an entire year’s worth of subscription.

It hoped to let players who did not possess a high-end PC play games at high or ultra settings without investing in hardware, given that they had a strong and reliable internet connection. If you’re a current PlayStation Now subscriber, you can purchase the 12-Month Subscription on PlayStation Store to extend your current 1-Month or 3-Month subscription. – Batman: Arkham Asylum (New!) : Become Batman as you move in the shadows, instigate fear amongst your enemies and confront The Joker and Gotham City’s most notorious villains who have taken over Arkham Asylum — Gotham City’s psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane. We know that $100 is still a lot to ask, but you should take note that normally Sony’s PS Now subscriptions are at $19.99 a month, or $44.99 for 3 months.

If you are still not convince you may opt for trials before subscribing with a free 7-Day Trial, but see to it not to cancel if you no longer like the service once your seven-day freebie ends! With an arsenal of gadgets, Batman’s mission is to take down thugs and put an end to the villains threatening the city — including The Joker himself. Fight for a Gotham City free of crime and corruption in this action-adventure game. – Injustice: Gods Among Us (New!) : Fight as DC Comics icons such as Batman, Cyborg, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Solomon Grundy, Superman, Wonder Woman, and more in epic battles on a massive scale in a world where the line between good and evil has been blurred. – Mortal Kombat (New!) : Experience the deadliest tournament in all its bloody glory in Mortal Kombat, including intrepid warriors Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, and the notorious dream stalker Freddy Krueger. – F.E.A.R (Single-Player Campaign Mode, New!) : A mysterious paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. Unfortunately Sony did not mention how long this deal will be good for so unless you’re really hard up on cash, perhaps you should just take the plunge ASAP before the deal goes away!

Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Origins have joined the group of streamable games, even though the first game was already given away for free to PS Plus owners a year ago. The amount of games available to play for just $8 a month is staggering, but this is rendered moot if your internet connection fails or the servers become overcrowded. Sony added more than 105 games in November, which included CAPCOM favorites, such as ‘Resident Evil 4′, ‘Ultra Street Fighter IV’, and ‘Dead Rising 2′.

The Batman Arkham series will be seeing more titles, as ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’ and ‘Batman: Origins’ will be added to the already existing ‘Batman: Arkham City’. The latter is a prequel to this year’s recently-awarded Best Fighting Game ‘Mortal Kombat X’, and poses as the star installment that revitalized a dying franchise.
