Best Buy Currently Running Four Day Samsung Sale With Drop In Prices For The Galaxy Note 4 And Galaxy S5.

Samsung’s virtual reality headset known as the is a testament to what can be done with virtual reality immersion technology, whether it be for apps, videos, games, or anything else.

The road to Samsung Galaxy S5 owners in Canada waiting for their Android 5.0 Lollipop update has not been a smooth ride by any stretch of the imagination. Powered by Oculus and grabbing battery power from the Galaxy Note 4 handset that sits in the front mantle of the head-worn tech, the Gear VR is light and easy to carry around and doesn’t seem to become uncomfortable after longer periods of time. In fact, in certain regions, you might already be able to go to a store near you and get your very own hands-on experience with the latest Samsung flagship device. The Innovator Edition of the headset which is already available to purchase straight from Samsung at their own website as well as AT&T retail and online stores and at, is now coming to Best Buy at 100 physical retail stores across the country starting on March 27th with more stores to be selling the device throughout 2015.

Well, the only problem for manufacturers and retailers when they launch a brand new (and highly anticipated) device is the excess stock they might be holding onto of the previous flagship offerings. While most consumers may not see the benefits of buying up something like the Oculus Rift development kit which costs considerably more, the Gear VR’s capability to bring smartphone-based virtual reality experiences to users allows consumers to obtain the unit at a much more affordable cost than anything else currently available. A couple weeks later, it was discovered that Galaxy S5 owner’s “jump for joy” was short lived as troubles began to creep up with the upgrade and the OTAs grounded to a screeching halt as Samsung tried to find out what was wrong.

The report is that the rollout is across all carriers, but it is only Lollipop 5.0, not the newest 5.0.2, which is shipping on the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Samsung assures that the OTA you are receiving does have the 5.0 bug fixes in it and if you received the first update, then you will receive a smaller OTA with bug fixes found and corrected in the second rollout.

There are also a few more Samsung deals to be had and so if you are in the market for something new then follow the link to head over to the Best Buy Sale page and check out the deals.
