Uncharted 4 motion capture is progressing nicely.

When Sony announced Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s delay into 2016, all we knew was that it was expected to launch sometime in the spring. The developer has apparently completed the motion-capture process for actors Richard McGonale and Emily Rosebrought for their respective video game characters, Sully, and Elena, reports Gamespot.– Pre-order at GameStop to receive the Multiplayer Booster Pack to instantly unlock a variety of one-time use multiplayer boosts, and The Phurba Dagger Taunt based on the iconic symbol from Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. For true fans, there’s the Libertalia Collector’s Edition that includes, besides the Special edition, a 12-inch Nathan Drake statue, three multiplayer outfits, two custom weapon skins, as well as other goodies.

Motion capture has been an important part of the development process of the “Uncharted” video game franchise and it has been practically the trademark of Naughty Dog for the game ever since the first “Uncharted” game, notes VG 24/7. Sony announced the release date for the latest Nathan Drake adventure along with two limited edition versions full of physical goodies plus a digital deluxe edition. Monacelli said Bluepoint Games, Naughty Dog’s partner studio for this collection, was able to take the cinematic models from the original games and use them as the collection’s in-game models thanks to the increased power of the PS4.

Uncharted 4 is now targeting a March 18, 2016 release for the PS4 following a delay earlier this year to give Naughty Dog more time to polish the action-adventure game. The Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection is coming this fall to hold fans over, but you can begin eyeing the different editions to decide how much Drake you can afford.

According to iDigital Times, there are noticeable improvements seen whenever the camera focuses on the foreground and background, while the graphics featuring the game’s protagonist Nathan Drake is reportedly more impressive. Although the game’s release is still indefinite and yet to be announced by Naughty Dog, what is confirmed at this time is that the video game will be streamed live on September 2 at the Gamestop Expo 2015. Much like it’s almost impossible not to hear Nathan Drake any time Nolan North talks, even when he’s not promoting Uncharted, McGonagle and Rose truly embody their characters, in a way. Uncharted 4 Triple Pack: Includes future access to the first-ever, single-player story add-on for the Uncharted series and two multiplayer packs that will unlock new, rare and legendary multiplayer items Some games, as noted in the review, are provided to us by the publishers for review purposes. Although the game is not yet released, Naughty Dog had been applauded for the seven-minute demo trailer of Uncharted 4 during the E3 2015 held in June.

Experience one of the most revered game series of all time as you follow the perilous journey of Nathan Drake across the globe, from humble beginnings to extraordinary discoveries. Those who had a chance to try out the reboot versions of “Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune”, “Uncharted 2: Among Thieves”, and “Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception” during the recently-concluded video game convention over the weekend claimed that the games have better graphics compared to its individual original editions that were released for PlayStation 3. It’s the sort of muddy tropical free-for-all where pineapple carts are turned over to provide extra visual interest while you dodge gunfire: cinematic, sure, but also a bit ho-hum compared with Nathan Drake’s previous feats of derring-do.

It’s always hard to tell what will go quickly though so pre-ordering early may be the best way to ensure you get the physical goodies from the Special and Collector’s Editions. So we created the tech to allow us to move around while a building is collapsing, or while a train is careening through a hillside.” The result, he says, is “big, bombastic moments — but it’s 100 percent in your control. That’s what we’re trying to show off here.” It turns out that there’s more going on in the Uncharted demo than I previously realized — and it’s why playing it is likely to be way more fun than watching it on YouTube.

This section of the game, which happens a few hours after Drake has reunited with an older brother he thought was dead, finds Drake and his pal Sully trying to escape an ambush in a stolen Jeep. To get away, you have to lose the tank — and that means darting through blind alleys, crashing through fences, and otherwise laying waste to a tropical village.

Watching the demo, you might assume that there’s only one way to go — that survival rests upon memorizing the precise series of twists and turns you need to take to escape the truck. Like any art, the best games stay with us because they force us to suspend our disbelief and buy the notion, however briefly, that we are in control of that jeep, and one wrong turn means certain death. The emotional core of the story — Drake coming back for one last score, after promising his wife he was out of the business — feels as obvious as they come.

The developers are promising this is Nathan Drake’s “final chapter” — until he gets rebooted in a Tomb Raider-style origin story, I’m guessing — and I’d love to see him go out on top. Uncharted’s interactive blockbusters have been plenty silly over the years, but they’ve also had heart, and I’ve been dazzled by their graphical sleight of hand.
