Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg speaks out in support of Muslims.

San Francisco – Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg wants to protect the rights of Muslims, saying they should not fear being “persecuted for the actions of others”.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is offering words of support for Muslims who fear retaliation for the recent violent attacks by Islamic extremists in Paris and San Bernardino.founder and CEO has come out with a strong statement today in support of the Muslim community in wake of the rising anti-Muslim sentiment in America after the San Bernardino attack.

In the wake of those attacks, Zuckerberg wrote on his personal Facebook page on December 9 that he wants to assure Muslims they are welcome on Facebook. He said that as a Jewish person, whose nation suffered its fair share of persecutions, tolerance is something that has been embedded in Zuckerberg’s upbringings and he keeps it as a moral core that he swore to protect in his company. “We will fight to protect your rights and create a peaceful and safe environment for you,” the 31-year-old internet entrepreneur, who recently became a father said. “As a Jew, my parents taught me that we must stand up against attacks on all communities. Even if an attack isn’t against you today, in time attacks on freedom for anyone will hurt everyone.” He currently leads Republican polls by double digit margins over his nearest rivals.
